Most people in a centipede procession

The longest centipede procession carried 223 children and was achieved by Hok Tek Tong Padang (Indonesia) in Padang, Indonesia, on 22 August 2013. The children wore traditional Chinese and Indonesian clothes and sat on an elaborately decorated wooden structure resembling a centipede. The structure, consisting of 56 boards and the centipede head and tail, was approximately 216 m (708 ft) long and was carried by over 1,500 volunteers, who took turns without interruptions for the initial 1.5 km (0.93 miles), when the record was ascertained.
