The most mini dominoes toppled is 3202 and was achieved by Wasilja Peterse (Netherlands) in Arnhem, Gelderland, Netherlands on 15 September 2020.

Wasilja's passion for regular dominoes started back in 1999 when the tv-show Domino Day inspired him to create his own domino setups. More than 20 years later, he still sees domino building as his passion and as a form of art expression. 'The mini dominoes truly captivated me as I am keen on making minute details in other things like drawings plus I have very steady hands. I wanted to challenge myself with the mini dominoes to see if I was capable of building them.'

It took Wasilja a total of 9 hours to build this mini dominoes record attempt field art.

Wasilja really loves to build spirals out of dominoes, especially when one line goes into a spiral towards the middle and then a lot of domino lines coming out again from that middle point. 'Its breathtaking, captivating and so satisfying to see it topple.'

Wasilja would suggest new domino builders to 'Test yourself many times. This type of domino building is a lot different than your regular sized dominoes. It involves a lot of patience, staying calm and a very very steady hand. Even if you are breathing just a little bit too much and the mini dominoes can already fall down. Test yourself to get the right amount of skill before you take up the challenge of breaking this record.'
