Most expensive 3D animation

With an estimated budget of $260 m (£168 m), Disney’s 3D animation Tangled (2010) is the most expensive 3D Animated film made to date. With over six years spent in production, and utilising a ground-breaking mixture of traditional cell animation, CGI and 3D "multi-rigging technology", Tangled is currently the second most expensive film ever made behind Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (2007).
