The most countries visited by fixed wing aircraft in 24 hours is 22, and was achieved by Nicholas Rogers and Mike Roberts (both UK), on 9 June 2025.
Mike and Nicholas previously held this record between 2019 - 2022, achieving a total of 16 countries. After their record was beaten, they decided to reclaim it.
"Our flight around Europe was enormous fun and very challenging, both at the planning phase (which took many months) and on the day itself. Taking a light aircraft into multiple European countries whilst making sure the flight was conducted safely (weather and terrain were big challenges) and legally was very demanding yet satisfying once completed. We also managed to raise some funds for our local air ambulance charity."
