The most clothes retrieved from washing line by a dog in one minute is 18 and was achieved by Daiquiri and his trainer Jennifer Fraser (both Canada), in Strathmore, Alberta, Canada, on 28 February 2021.
The pair have previously achieved records including the fastest time to walk 30 metres with a dog's paws on the feet, most toys retrieved by a dog in one minute and most weaves through a person's legs by a dog in 30 seconds. The inspiration for record-breaking came as a result of the Covid-19 lockdowns, as Jennifer looked for fun things to do with her dog.
Daiquiri loves to learn new things and once he gets it enjoys going faster and faster. Having already mastered the skills for most toys retrieved by a dog in one minute, the training for this title was a little easier and Daquiri learned what was required very quickly.
