The longest painting marathon is 200 hours 40 minutes and was achieved by Godwin Chika (Nigeria) in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria, from 3 to 12 April 2025.
Godwin told GWR that he took on this challenge "to promote the art culture in Africa and the world at large to give more value to the works of art."
He completed 144 paintings during the attempt, finishing with a trophy he painted to celebrate completing the successful attempt.
