The longest open saltwater scuba dive lasted 142 hours, 42 minutes, 42 seconds and was achieved by Cem Karabay in collaboration with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Girne Alsancak, between 14-20 July 2016.
Cem Karabay was supported by a team of 70 people. This is his 4th GWR record title.
