Saddam Killany took over 3 years to plan for his record attempt, in which he used this time to train and practice, as well as create his own recording system to record all the attempt, and change the design of his dry suit to be more flexible.

The record took place in Dahab, Egypt and happened through out the 5th to 11th of November, with a total of 145 hours and 25 minutes.
