The longest interval between births of triplets is 17 days 18 hours 55 minutes and was achieved during the births of Lorne (USA, b. 20 September 2004), Isaac and Sullivan McBurney (both USA, b. 8 October 2004) who were born to Kara McBurney and Scott McBurney in Lee's Summit, Missouri, USA.

Mom Kara McBurney says they never set out to break this record but found the title and thought it would be fun to apply. Having triplets born almost 18 days apart is a fun story, especially for "Two Truths and a Lie"!

The boys are 17 1/2 years old now and being Guinness World Records title holders "would be really cool, and put my mom’s great feat of spending a month in labor in a measurable thing, and give her the recognition she needs for doing all of this for us.” Kara "would say the same for them – they have been through the ringer medically because of their prematurity. But mostly it would just mean epic bragging rights!! I grew up reading Guinness World Records (like everyone else my age and since!!) and it would be amazing to be a part of that!"
