The longest piece of wood cut from one tree measured 46.53 m (152 ft 7 in) and was cut by Daniel Czapiewski of Danmar Sp. zo. o. (Poland) during the Strong Man Competition in Szymbark, Poland, on 9 June 2012.
The board was cut by hand over several days, but completed on the 9 June. Many people contributed by sawing a part, including Lech Walesa, former President of Poland.
