The largest yoga lesson consists of 300,105 participants and was achieved by Ayush Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh (India) on occasion of International Yoga Day in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, on 21 June 2025.
The event was organised by the Ayush Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, and brought together people from all walks of life to celebrate International Yoga Day.
The attempt took place along a 26 kilometre stretch of Visakhapatnam’s Beach Road, and witnessed the participation of over 3,00,105 individuals, who followed the instructions set forth in the lesson.
The event was attended by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the transformative power of yoga for individual and societal wellbeing. The initiative was led on-ground by Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu.
