The largest Yapai dance involved 800 participants and was achieved by the People's Government of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture (China) in Yanji, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin, China, on 2 September 2012.
The attempt was organized to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture which fell on 3 September 2012.
