The largest stir fry weighed 2,509 kg (5,331 lb), and was achieved by La Discada, Carnes Ramos (both Mexico), and US Meat (USA) in Nuevo León, Mexico, on 21 June 2025.
The event was organized by La Discada, Gobierno de Guadalupe, US Meat, Carnes Ramos, and Grupo Collado Acero. It featured various activities including musical performances, lucha libre matches, salsa competitions, and traditional games. Several other brands also participated by preparing asados around the main cooking area.
The discada recipe included sausage, beef, pork, bacon, tomatoes, peppers, onions, and beer, all sautéed in pork lard. Cooking lasted 3 hours and 40 minutes with the participation of approximately 100 culinary students. Ingredients were pre-cut and transported in refrigerated trucks.
