The largest samba band consisted of 1,675 players, achieved by Inspire-works, Street Child World Cup (both UK) and 27 London schools at The Royal Albert Hall in London, UK, on 3 March 2014.
The record attempt was engineered to highlight the plight of street children around the world and also marked the UK launch of the Street Child World Cup, commencing in Brazil on 28 March.
