The largest Ohuokhai dance consisted of 15,293 participants, and was achieved at an event organised by Aisen Nikolaev, in Yakutsk, Sakha Republic, Russia, on 23 June 2012 Ohoukhai is a round dance which traditionally takes place as part of Ysyakh, the celebration of Yakut New Year. The dance is a greeting of the sun and marks the beginning of the summer and a new life cycle
