The largest matchstick model 'Catherdrals of the Sea' consists of 4.075 million matchsticks and depicts a North Sea oil production platform. It was made by David Reynolds (UK) and was completed in July 2009. It has taken over 15 years for its construction, the model is currently on public display at The Bursledon Brickwork and Industrial Museum, Swanwick, Southampton.
