The record for the largest drum ensemble is 10,045 drummers, and was achieved by the Hong Kong Federation of Young Groups (China), at the Hong Kong Coliseum, in Hong Kong, China, on 29 June 2007.
The participants were young people coming from Hong Kong, mainland China, Macau and Taiwan. The event was held for celebrating the 10th anniversary of the handover of Hong Kong to China. The event was called the "Dragon Jamboree" Concert
