The largest dabke dance consisted of 5,050 dancers and was organised by Sakha Jean Yacoub Moujaes (Lebanon), in Dhour El-Shweir Main Street, Matn, Lebanon on 7 August 2011. The record attempt was part of Lebanon Alertness Day, which also featured awareness campaigns on the dangers of tobacco, drugs and speeding. Other activities included musical performances by Lebanese artists such as Toni Kiwan, Sami Clark and Hisham Hajj. A Harley Davidson show also took place to raise awareness on motorcycle safety.
