The largest chestnut roaster is 10.48 m (34 ft 4 in) long and 6.23 m (20 ft 5 in) in diameter, and was made by the Comune of Roccamonfina and Associazione Verde Collina (both Italy) in Roccamonfina, Italy, on 28 October 2018.
The large chestnut roaster weighed 1,289 kg (2,841 lb 12 oz) and is able to roast 1,190 kg (2,623 lb 8 oz) of chestnuts at any one time. It was made during the "Sagra della castagna e del fungo porcino" festival of chestnuts and porcini mushrooms which has been held for 42 years. Chestnuts are very important to the economy of the town.
