The world's largest Caesar salad was prepared by Canirac, the Tijuana Restauranteurs Chamber of Commerce, weighed 3.287 tonnes (7,246 lb) and was unveiled in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico on 20 October 2007. The Caesar salad was first created by chef Caesar Cardini who ran restaurants in Tijuana, Mexico in the 1920s-1940s. 160 people were involved in the process.
