The largest bird feeder (volume) holds 700 kg (1543.24 lb) of food, and was achieved by Haresh Shah (India), in Nashik, Maharashtra, India, on 4 April 2022.
Haresh bought a bird feeder at the market and installed it near his house. Impressed by the success of the feeder, he had the idea of building an outsized version and checked the Guinness World Records website to see what the largest ever built was. He realised he could surpass the previous record, so got started on building the large item. The finalised product is constructed from eco-friendly materials and the outside paint helps to provide thermal control of the grain inside.
