The largest art competition attracted a total of 4,850,271 entrants from 6,601 schools across India in the All India Camel Colour Contest, organised by Kokuyo Camlin Limited (India), the final judging took place on 8 December 2011.
The entries were divided into groups depending on the type of media used e.g. crayons, pastels, water colours etc. Judging took place at regional then national level.
