The highest snowboard air on a superpipe is 7.41 m (24 ft 4 in), and was achieved by Kaishu Hirano (Japan) at the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022, in Beijing, China, on 10 February 2022.
In his first-ever Olympic performance, Kaishu achieved a new record with his backside air jump. He competed along with his older brother, Ayumu, in the men's snowboarding event.
