Game of Thrones (HBO, USA/UK) was the most popular TV show in the world in 2024, according to data-science firm Parrot Analytics, with a global demand rating 89.0 times greater than that of the average TV show. The valuation relates to the period from 1 February 2024 to 31 January 2025.

The fantasy drama series, which is adapted from the book series A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin, improved on its own record for 2023, when its global demand rating was 74.5 times that of the average TV show.

The resurgence of the HBO series, which originally aired in 2011 to 2019, is likely connected to the more recent release of its prequel series House of the Dragon, the second season of which aired in 2024.
