According to figures from Forbes, Brazilian Gisele Bundchen is the world’s highest paid model, making $30.5 million (£20.8 million) in the year up to 1 June 2016. The model, who retired from catwalks in 2015, is still the top earner in the industry thanks to deals with the likes of Chanel and Carolina Herrera. Fellow Brazilian, Adriana Lima, came second in the list with earnings of $10.5 million (£7.1 million).
