The heaviest squash (Cucurbita maxima) weighed 2,200 lb (997.90 kg) and was grown by Joe Jutras (USA), as verified by the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth at the SNGPG Frerichs Farm Weigh-Off in Warren, Rhode Island, USA, on 11 October 2025.
The squash, grown from a "920 Jutras" Atlantic Giant mother seed, had a circumference of 227 inches (576.6 cm; 18 ft 11 in) and a stem-to-blossom measurement of 118 inches (299.7 cm; 9 ft 10 in).
This surpassed a 2,164-lb (981.57-kg) squash that was grown by Todd and Donna Skinner (both USA) as verified at the Oakland Nursery National Pumpkin Weigh-off in Dublin, Ohio, USA, on 10 October 2021.
Jutras previously set this record in 2017 with a 2,118-lb (960.70 kg) squash.
