Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 was the first Wii game to feature online multiplayer game modes capable of hosting 32 players at one time. Released in November 2007, Heroes 2 was also announced by Nintendo as the first third party game to support the Wii Zapper, a hardware accessory that transforms the Wii Remote and Nunchuk into a light gun.
