Effects house Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) created the CARI (Short for "caricature") animation program to render skin and muscle tissue on to animated characters. Its first outing was for the movie Dragonheart (USA,1996), in which it was used to give life to Draco, a dragon voiced by Sean Connery (UK).
