First person to score one billion points on a videogame
Tim McVey
United States (Ottunnwa)

On 15 January 1984, at the end of a 44-hour 45-minute marathon game of Nibbler at Twin Galaxies, Ottumwa, Iowa, USA, Tim McVey (USA) had amassed 1,000,042,270 points. The feat was made all the more remarkable as McVey had used just one quarter to achieve his record-breaking score.
