The fastest time to cycle trans-Canada is 13 days 3 hours 49 minutes and was achieved by Chris Bruckner (Canada) between 30 June and 13 July 2019.

Chris decided to challenge the Trans-Canada cycling world to raise funds and awareness for the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Not surprisingly, the attempt took a hard physiological toll on Chris's body. Chris battled the Canadian elements including an extremely heavy rainstorm on the penultimate day, but pushed to the end, which not surprisingly took a hard physiological toll on Chris's body. It took approximately four months for Chris to fully recover. Suffering from persistent nerve damage in his hands, feet, and pelvic region, making day-to-day tasks challenging while he recovered.

Despite this Chris is determined to complete another journey like this in the future.
