Andreas is no stranger to running long distances. He has been running 1500 metre events and marathons for 15 years. He started playing football from a young age but found later on in life that he was more capable at running track and field.

Andreas' son was only 1½ years old on the day of the attempt, but he says he looks forward to sharing this fantastic memory and story with him when he gets older!
