Released for the PC in 1990, The Secret of Monkey Island is the first game in the popular Monkey Island series of point n click games. One gamer, known only as “Mike”, managed to run through the game in just 39 min 12 sec. Mike completed the game as a multi-segment, meaning that he saved his progress after each chapter. Fast though he was, Mike could have saved himself some time, as The Secret of Monkey Island can be completed without even playing the game. All the player needs to do is press CTRL-W on the keyboard to see the words “You Win” and the closing credit sequence, making it the easiest point n click to complete.
