The fastest average time to solve a Rubik's Clock is 2.14 seconds, achieved by Lachlan Gibson (New Zealand) at the GAN New Zealand Nationals 2026 event in Wellington, New Zealand, on 10 July 2026.
Gibson recorded solve times of 2.10, (2.07), 2.22, 2.09 and (2.33) seconds, with the fastest and the slowest times discounted as per World Cube Association (WCA) rules.
He surpassed the previous mark of 2.24 seconds, which was set by Brendyn Dunagan at the Temecula Valley Winter 2025 event in Murrieta, California, USA, on 13 December 2025.
Gibson also holds the single solve version of this title (1.53 seconds, as of 27 September 2025).
