The fastest average time to solve a rotating puzzle dodecahedron is 23.40 seconds, achieved by Timofei Tarasenko (Russia) at the Kuala Lumpur Cubing Challenge 2026 event in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 22 August 2026.
Tarasenko recorded solve times of (22.47), (24.29), 23.57, 23.73 and 22.91 seconds, with the fastest and the slowest times discounted from the average as per World Cube Association (WCA) rules.
He surpassed his previous mark of 24.38 seconds, which he set at the Tashkent Open 2025 event in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on 6 December 2025.
On the same day, Tarasenko claimed the fastest average time to solve a 6x6x6 rotating puzzle cube (1 minute 3.63 seconds).
