A father-and-sons team, Francisco Rencoret (65) and his sons, Max (35) and Tomás (33), have achieved a new world altitude record for motorcycles. They reached a final elevation of 6,639.976 meters on Chile’s Ojos del Salado volcano.

The attempt took place following a seven-day acclimatization period and was completed on November 25, 2025. The ascent covered approximately 37 kilometers in about 5 hours and was confirmed to have been conducted without assistance.

''The record attempt is a Thanksgivings effort, a way for father and sons to give thanks for life. The expedition is a team effort that combines the experience and determination of father and sons.'', they said.
