The highest altitude achieved on a motorcycle is 6,756 m (22,165 ft 4.4 in) and was achieved by Pol Tarrés Roca (Spain) in Ojos del Salado, Chile, on 6 March 2024.
This record recognises the highest altitude reached by an individual riding a motorcycle. The attempt took place on the slopes of Ojos del Salado, the world’s highest active volcano, where extreme terrain and thin air make ascent increasingly difficult. The rider must reach the maximum verified elevation under their own power, with the final altitude measured and independently witnessed in accordance with Guinness World Records guidelines.
