Integrating PC titles into Microsoft’s Xbox Live service has been a difficult process. Only a few titles have allowed cross-platform gaming so that players can hook up and trade bullets on the PC and Xbox 360. The first game to achieve this was Shadowrun, which lets online gamers play as a human, elf, troll or dwarf and use magic spells alongside weapons such as shotguns.
