Longest time playing a videogame while travelling in a crate
- Who
- Jordan Wayne Long
- When
- June 2011
One of this year’s oddest gaming records took place from 1 to 8 July 2011, when performance artist Jordan Wayne Long spent seven days travelling 2,000 miles across the USA locked inside a tailor-made crate on a flatbed trailer. His only company was a laptop running Lord of the Rings Online (Turbine, 2007). Long took a set of clothes, 28 protein bars and four gallons of water. The only form of communication he had throughout the trip was in-game with another player documenting Long’s Lord of the Rings Online activities on a public blog.
