The world’s largest Mii character was created by a group of Japanese 3DS fans in March 2011. First, they designed a huge augmented reality marker by taping together 256 sheets of A3 paper. They placed the marker next to the Tetsujin 28-go giant robot statue in Wakamatsu Park, Kobe, Japan. Then, using the 3DS, they were able to generate a Mii character as big as the real-life statue, which weighs 50 metric tonnes and stands a whopping 18 m (60 ft) tall.
