The largest claw machine is 55.85 m³ (1,972.32 ft³) and was achieved by Butlin's (UK) in Bognor Regis, UK, on 1 July 2026.
Butlin’s marked its 90th birthday year by unveiling the largest claw machine in the world, a supersized version of the much-loved arcade attraction. Installed in the Sky Pavilion at Butlin’s Bognor Regis resort, the fully functional machine is a centrepiece for guests, built by GIGO and weighing 2,305 kg. The record is measured by the internal volume of the machine, and despite its scale, the machine remains true to the accessibility of the traditional arcade game, with plays costing just £1. The record was announced during a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Resort Director Matt Rake, with Butlin’s Redcoats and resort guests gathering to witness the unveiling and be amongst the first to play for the oversized plush toys and prizes inside. The attraction will remain at the resort for at least a year before being relocated to Butlin’s Minehead resort for guests to enjoy there as well.
