Largest collection of autographed baseballs

Dennis M. Schrader (USA) has collected 4,020 baseballs, all autographed by different professional baseball players, as of August 2011. The collection was verified by the president of All American Sports Collectibles and St. Petersburg Museum of History who are versed in baseball histories. Dennis received his first autographed baseball from Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle of the New York Yankees in March 1956 while the Yankees were spring training in St. Petersburg, Florida. He has been travelling the US for the last 55 years in pursuit of the largest collection. His particular favourites include that of Babe Ruth and ‘Shoeless’ Joe Jackson.
