The fastest time to peel and slice a pineapple is 11.43 seconds and was achieved by Dominika Gasparova (Slovakia), in association with Del Monte (UK), in Wisbech, United Kingdom, on 10 December 2025.

Ten Del Monte employees experienced in preparing pineapple went head to head to challenge the previous record of 17.85 seconds. After the unofficial heats, Dominika was at the top of the leader board with a qualifying time of 12.03 seconds. This meant she would be the one to represent Del Monte and progress to the Official Attempt in front of the Guinness World Records adjudicator. Dominika had to remove the pineapple skin and chop the fruit into chunks no larger than 3.8cm in record time. Her first attempt at beating the record under official conditions was flawless, improving the record to beat by over 6 seconds.
