Most two-wheeled tractors ploughing simultaneously

The most two-wheeled tractors ploughing simultaneously was achieved by 23 British and Irish ploughmen at an event organized by the George Holt's Iron Horse Tractor Group (UK) at Wey Manor Farm, New Haw, Byfleet, Surrey, UK, on 29 August 2011. The tally would have been 24, but one tractor broke down. In preparation for the event, over 25 ploughing plots were marked out adjacent to each other. The plots, each measuring 50 m (164.04 ft) by 7 m (22.97 ft), were numbered and allocated to the participating ploughmen. The tractors used were 21 orange-coloured vintage Iron Horse Tractors manufactured from 1939 to 1958 by the British Anzani Engineering Company and two green-coloured Trusty Tractors manufactured by Tractors London. They were all pedestrian-controlled, two-wheeled machines of similar power and size, and had been commercially available. All tractors ploughed simultaneously in their individually allotted plots at a minimum depth of 4 in (12.07 cm) for a minimum period of five minutes.
