Biggest increase in ebook sales (single format)

In 2010, the ebook market saw its biggest period of growth ever with sales rising 164.4 per cent on the previous year, representing 8.32 per cent of total book sales for the year and, for the first time ever, out-selling hardback books (by almost 50 per cent). According to Amazon, the ebook will also out-sell paperback books in the very near future.
