The longest slackline walk was 2,130 m (6,988 ft) and was made over the Lapporten valley in the Abisko National Park, Sweden, by Quirin Herterich, Lukas Irmler, Ruben Langer and Friedi Kühne (all Germany). In total, 15 slackliners rigged and attempted to walk the 600-m-high (1,968-ft) crossing over a three-day period on 4–6 July 2021, with four successfully making it from end to end without falling, as confirmed by the International Slackline Association.

The team established a portable weather station at the mountain peak and rigged the line when the wind had dropped sufficiently – a process that took almost six hours to complete after two days of planning.
