The fastest half marathon skipping rope is 1 hr 50 min 23 sec and was achieved by Panagiotis Polydoras (Greece), in Kallithea, Greece, on 3 October 2021.

Panagiotis trained for six months and followed a training program with his coach Simos Bardis. He trained 6 times a week, covering a distance of about 60 kilometres running with a rope.

Although Panagiotis found it difficult at first, once he had mastered his pace, the challenge became a bit easier.

Despite the intense training, the day of the attempt ended up being very hot, which added an unprecedented challenge. However, Panagiotis overcame the challenge and managed to achieve the Guinness World Records title!
