Ed Boon (USA) is not only one of the creators and lead developers of the Mortal Kombat fighting game series, but he’s provided the voice for the fearsome Scorpion since the first Mortal Kombat (Midway, 1992) up to the most recent release on 19 Sep 2023, Mortal Kombat 1 (NetherRealm). That’s an impressive span of over 30 years – 31 years and 20 days, to be more exact.
This narrowly outstrips Japanese Actress Masako Nozawa, who has been voicing anime superstar Goku (among others) in the Dragon Ball game series for 25 years 333 days between the releases of Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden on 20 March 1993 and Jump Force on 15 February 2019. Charles Martinet (USA) who had been voicing Mario Mari for 27 years, retired in August 2023.
