Both Angelina Jolie and her real-life father Jon Voight had won Oscars by the time they starred in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2001, as the eponymous heroine and Lord Croft, respectively. Jolie’s gong was Best Supporting Actress for Girl, Interrupted (1999) while Voight won Best Actor for his leading role in the 1978 drama Coming Home.
