Alternative rockers Weezer (USA) stuffed 55 different internet memes into the 2009 music video for their track "Pork and Beans". Directed by Motion Theory's Mathew Cullen and produced by Javier Jimenez and Bernard Rahill (all USA), the action-packed video features, among other viral sensations, Judson Laipply's "Evolution of Dance", "Numa Numa", "The Sneezing Baby Panda", Miss Teen South Carolina 2007 and references to several Guinness World Records achievements, including the fastest time to solve a Rubik's Cube (5.55 seconds, by Dutchman Mats Valk) and the most T-shirts worn at once (257, by Sri Lanka's Sanath Bandara).
This record applies to the revised and updated 2009 version of the video that was released on 12 January 2009. The original "Pork and Beans" video, which won a Grammy for Best Music Video, Short Form, was first uploaded to YouTube on 23 May 2008.
The term "internet meme" is used to describe a concept that spreads swiftly via the internet. The video has been described as a "crash-course in internet culture".
