On 5 June 2010, musician Laurie Anderson (USA) debuted her original “Music for Dogs” composition at the Sydney Opera House, Australia, before an audience of around 1,000 dogs and their owners. Originally intended as a “high-frequency concert” inaudible to the human ear, the 20-minutes free performance was extended to include thumping beats, whale calls, whistles as well as high-pitched electronic sounds.
