Most animated 3D features released in a single year

Following the boom in 3D cinema in 2009, the production of 3D animation movies reached an all-time peak in 2010, with no less than 12 feature-length 3D animated films produced by the major studios hitting cinemas. These films included Toy Story 3, Megamind, Tangled and "remastered" 3D versions of the first three films in the Shrek franchise. The films are as follows:
